In Internet discussions, the term “facepalm” is used as an expression of embarrassment, frustration, disbelief, disgust, shame or general woe. It often expresses mockery or disbelief of perceived idiocy. The facepalm is sometimes expressed using a YouTube video.
I was trying to emulate the classic Jean Luc Picard pose shown below. I had to try five times before I got close – it’s actually harder than it looks to get in the right position!
KID PHOTO TAG — the insidious video tag. A genuinely crappy idea invented by the DREWnetwork. Tagees must create a video featuring their childhood photos.
I won’t be tagging anyone specific, although if you watch the original video, you will also be tagged.
This was a response to UnCut Philip DeFranco Show. I asked Phil how he organizes all his videos and the raw data for them, but he never replied.
My method since then has been to keep my raw data only until I am satisfied with the end result video, then I upload it. I archive the video that was uploaded, and delete all the raw data files.
Did someone tell you a mildly sad story? Do you think they’re being a little over-dramatic? Send them a link to this video and I’ll play a sad song for them on my tiny violin!
This is the traveling generic response video – it is meant to be a satire of other lame video responses. Please approve it and leave a comment if you like. In a few days this video will move on and be a response to someone else. This is just for fun, but the gratitude is real – thanks for posting your videos (really!)
My first great idea for a viral video! I was going to post it as a reply on YouTube to popular videos to get a lot of views, then move it to another video when the rate of new views slowed down. I figured this out when I discovered that you could change what video you were replying to. It didn’t work as planned because most people don’t approve it as a reply.
