This shows you the process step-by-step to install Ubuntu Linux version 10.04 Lucid Lynx Netbook Edition, onto your net-book without using an optical CD drive. The netbook I have here is a Hewlet-Packard 2133.

In my example, the USB flash drive is created with Ubuntu. If you have a Mac, you can use Disk Utility. For Windows, there’s probably a way but you’re on your own there (Tell me in the comments if you know how.)
