This is a very low-key prank that you can pull on your friends. Mail some vacation postcards to people who live near you. They will get your card saying “wish you were here” and get confused because they just saw you the other day! It will be hilarious.

Trying out YouTube’s Record From Webcam feature that lets you create a live video from your laptop computer. In this case I am using my System76 Serval Pro running Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. A nice computer, with a crappy “eyeshot” webcam.
